The Inspiration Behind our 2025 Christmas Cards

Wise Men, Shepherds, and the Holy Family. Rachel painted these new pieces of artwork for the 2025 Christmas season.
Each of these pieces of artwork has a story and tells a story.
Rachel first painted the Wise Men, playing with the gorgeous desert colors, the darkening sky, and the three wise men (and their camels) looking for the Christmas star. My favorite detail is in the three camels: look closely, they're all smiling as they gaze up at the star.

A friend came up with the idea for the Shepherds and a sister imagined the Holy Family picture. In both of these, we continue the theme of looking, as we come closer to the baby Jesus. The shepherds gaze at the Nativity Scene as they approach. Inside the stable, Mary gazes in joy on the baby Jesus, held by his foster-father Joseph.
.
The theme of looking. Looking for the baby Jesus in the dark. The star shines in the dark sky - only a hint, but the wise men who are looking can see it. The stable glows in the darkness as the shepherds draw near. And inside the stable, the darkness of the walls and corners is driven out by the brightness of the baby.
We love these new pieces and invite you to share them with your family and friends this Christmas.
